Welcome
Hi Everyone,
As we approach the end of 2025, I wanted to take a moment to thank all our customers, partners, and friends across the BlueFort community. It’s been an incredible year and one of strong collaboration, innovation, and continued momentum. We’re proud to be closing out another period of double-digit growth, which really reflects the trust you’ve placed in us and the energy of our brilliant team.
This year has also seen a huge step forward in AI security. The buzz around AI-powered tools like Abnormal AI and CrowdStrike has been well deserved, and it’s been exciting to see how our clients are now using these technologies to use AI to strengthen and automate their cyber resilience. At BlueFort, our focus has been on helping organisations cut through the noise and harness AI safely and effectively. No matter where you are on your AI adoption cycle, our skilled consultants can help. As you’ll see from this month’s “Inside the Fort”, we have a new AI Whitepaper and a series of events and assessments available.
As the holidays approach, it’s worth remembering that cyber criminals don’t take time off so please stay alert, stay secure, and take care online. Most importantly, take some well-earned time to rest and recharge.
Looking ahead, 2026 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for BlueFort. We’ll be building on this year’s momentum with new partnerships, deeper investments in human and AI-driven security capabilities, and more ways to help our customers tackle the next wave of cyber challenges with confidence.
From everyone at BlueFort, thank you for your continued support and partnership. Wishing you a safe, happy, and successful end to the year.
Best Wishes,
Dave Henderson, CEO & Co-Founder
Why Zero-Trust Network Access is Essential for Modern Enterprise Security
Zero-Trust Network Access has become essential as modern organisations face borderless networks, remote work, and increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. Our latest blog explains why “never trust, always verify” is now the foundation of effective security and offers a practical guide to reducing risk, improving visibility, and strengthening security without adding complexity.
Southampton City Council – Customer Success Story
Southampton City Council needed to strengthen identity protection across its hybrid infrastructure. Facing challenges enforcing MFA on internal systems, limited visibility into long-standing service accounts, and growing ransomware threats, the Council sought a modern, scalable solution that could secure critical services without disrupting operations.
By partnering with BlueFort Security and Silverfort, the Council extended MFA protection to legacy and on-prem systems and eliminated reliance on physical tokens.

Secure & Compliant AI Adoption in the NHS
2nd December, 2pm
Generative AI has allowed NHS teams to streamline manual tasks, reduce admin pressure, and improve patient care but it must be adopted securely and responsibly.
In this webinar, BlueFort Security, KnowBe4, and Harmonic Security explore a practical approach that combines user awareness and training with the right technical guardrails. We highlight how NHS organisations can gain visibility and control over AI usage while helping clinicians use these tools safely and effectively.
The Challenge of Third-Party Connectivity: How to Protect Critical Infrastructure from Supply-Chain Threats
3rd December, 11am
Third-party suppliers regularly connect to OT environments through file transfers, remote access, and removable media. An open door for your supplier is an open door for an attacker too.
In this session, we’ll explore practical ways to secure every route data takes into critical infrastructure without slowing down essential operations. You’ll learn how you can automate verification of devices and files, and align supply-chain and regulatory requirements within real-world OT workflows.
Talking with the Techies: Meet Mark Allitt
You’ve met us over Teams but how well do you really know us? Get to know Mark Allitt, Cybersecurity Consultant, who’s been part of the BlueFort team for 12 years. We sat down with Mark to dive deeper into his journey, his passions, and what drives him in and outside of work. It’s a great chance to hear his story in his own words and see what continues to inspire him after more than a decade with us.
