G-Cloud 15 – What’s New?
The purpose of this new iteration of the G-Cloud framework remains true to its roots: to simplify and speed up how public sector organisations buy cloud computing services.
It’s worth noting that there are some pretty significant changes, including close alignment to the 2023 Procurement Act and, for the first time, accreditation for Cyber Essentials Plus, the UK Government-backed certification, which is mandatory. G-Cloud 15 is set to run for four years (and will re-open for new entries after 18 months) while G-Cloud 14 was initially a two-year framework.
